What an incredible place to finish the day! What is this? What's going on here?

Nestled in an aging housing estate there is a roundabout. The roundabout has been there for much longer than the houses - about 5000 years longer in fact! this is because it is actually the remains of a passage tomb. These remains now just consist of the kerb, which is 12m in diameter and incomplete.

The local residents have proudly (and perversely) erected a white marble crucifix and two attendant figures in the centre of the tomb, making this possibly the most bizarre site in Ireland.
