Visit Notes

Sunday, 20th April 2003

In the next field to the stone circle is this small wedge tomb. The single capstone (1.5m x 2m) rests one just three stones, two walls and an end stone. At the other end to the backstone is a small pillar which divides the entrance into two halves.

The fence between the circle and the wedge tomb is topped with barbed wire ... not what you'd expect at a national monument.
