This rath is quite typical in size (30m diam) and structure. There are no signs of internal huts or structure remaining, but on the side of the rath nearest the ogham stones there is some stone work showing through the earth that now covers the banks, which are 1.2m high.
The site is quite a lovely one, on the top of a low ridge, and would have offered a fair amount of protection. Watercress grows in the stream at the roadside near to the field gate.
