I really didn't mean to come here today, but I took the wrong road at Corofin and passed the end of the road leading to this site and so decided to pop in.
The church itself is quite late, but features an exquisite Romanesque doorway. A full half-circle of heads runs around the outside of some lozenges and other motifs. The capitals to the columns are sadly quite worn, but the above mentioned heads are great. Sadly, like most reconstructed doorways this one was rebuilt incorrectly.
The west window, which is quite high up and probably un-noticed by many visitors) also features a hotch-potch of Romanesque fragments.
