At Baur South you see this monument from the road whilst looking for the more interesting site at Baur South (County Clare). The cairn is about 3m tall and 15m in diameter. Some of the stones seem to have been robbed from the top, but it is hard to say if it was ever opened.

To reach the wedge tomb, climb over the low spot in the wall directly behind the cairn from the road and head to your right. You will see a gap in the wall and the tomb is 20m through there.
