At first glance this site seems to be untouched, the north facing gallery entirely covered in large cairn material, with bits of court stones poking out through the rubble that has collapsed forward, filling the court area. However, wandering around to the south end there are the remains of another chamber, and as this is in line with the north court it must be the remnants of another gallery, so this was most likely a double court tomb with a court and gallery at each end.
All the mystery of the one gallery being still covered and probably untouched doesn't really come to life when you are actually there. Despite knowing that no one knows what is beneath the cairn the muted appearance lets the site down. It is undoubtedly of great archeaological significance, but not a great place to visit - certainly not a place to try and soak in any atmosphere.
