The sight of this stone row from the start of the farm track is very, very dramatic, and you simply have to get to it. Could it really be as good as it looks? Oh yes it could! Yes indeedy!
The three massive stones stand in their own quagmire of mud and .. well other stuff .. which makes standing by them rather unpleasant, except that standing next to them is great, because their presence is quite incredible. The central stone is the tallest at around 1.7m tall and the other two are not a lot shorter. Each stone is extremely wide based, making the row around 6m long.
The cows here were very threatening in their behaviour, but kept their distance. What did they think I was about to do - run off with their scratching posts?
