Visit Notes

Sunday, 10th November 2002

Well, it's a start I suppose, but does this bode badly for the rest of the day? Is the rest of my trip going to be visiting half a wedge tomb? As it turned out, luckily, no!

Some structure is left here and I was at first tempted to think this was a kist, but the doulbe walling points towards it being a very robbed wedge tomb, or perhaps a very early example and a cross over between kists and wedges.

There is just a 1.3m square box, about 60cm high, with a broken roof slab lying inside.
