Saturday, 26th October 2002

The round tower stump is just 10m from the church. It stands to a height of around 5m and has a fine crop of bushes growing upon it.

There is no sign of any doorway and so I presume it was above this level. The stonework is os very nice quality, but in an area so used to building stone forts this is hardly surprising.
