Visit Notes

Saturday, 26th October 2002

This is not the best of the crosses at Kilfenora, but as the cathedral grounds are closed due to renovation work I was not able to get to the better one. This very tall cross stands over 5m tall, 150m west of the cathedral in a field.

The ring is perforated and there is a crude crucifixion in the centre on the east side. The shaft is decorated with geometric patterns.
