Visit Notes

Sunday, 6th October 2002

Standing by the side of the N11 as you enter Ferns from the north is a curious little box-like building with a cross on the roof. This is infact built to cover St. Mogue's Well. Unforunately, a locked gate prvents you from going down the stairs to the well.

Just 40m away, down a little path, is another spout from the well in a modern shrine.
