This is really what I need on a Sunday morning - looking for a stone circle with no grid reference in the fog!
Somehow I think I found the scant remains of this circle. There is a distinct arc of stones on the north side and a few to the south west. The whole of the hillside is dotted with protruding bedrock (some of it definitely quarried away) and other stones. This all adds intrigingly to the big picture of Knockanividee.

_Follow the R114 out of Dublin and take the third right after Oldbawn. Be careful this is a nasty turn that doubles back on itself on a blind bend. Follow the road until you reach the pine plantations on both sides of the road. The stone circle is 200m or so to the right, approximately level with the start of the woods, two fields away.
