Visit Notes

Sunday, 21st October 2001

This looks like a great place (from the road). It is clearly supposed to be accessible as there is a sign on the top presumably giving some history of the site. Unfortunately, the field has an electric fence around it, stopping any one getting near it. There is a low bank with a deep ditch surrounding the central mound. This truly is a magnificent specimen of a ring fort.
