This signposted monument is an absolute disgrace. It lies close to the road, has its own horse gate for easy access and is signposted from several junctions away. This is often a good sign that you will be able to see something when you reach it. This is not the case here. When you do finally reach it you walk through the little gate and deflate.
All you can see is a high pile of weeds and brambles. Just one of the court stones (I think) and a roofstone (I think) poke out through the undergrowth. I'd had enough. I decided to head home.
