The church itself is of little interest apart from the unusual tower. What is of interest here lies just below the east window outside the buildng.
Set into the ground you will see a large, irregular grave stone. This is almost certainly a re-used standing stone.
Above this mounted into the wall is a stone head. This is a 'mouth-puller'. You can just see the remains of the fingers from the right hand and the whole of the left. These are inserted into the corners of his mouth, pulling his lips into a slit, exposing a very toothy grin.
