Visit Notes

Sunday, 23rd June 2002

This is easy to get to and well worth the small effort involved. It is not as pretty as the NE circle but it much larger at 15m diameter.

Most of the stones are missing from the south side but it is still impressive none the less. The stones are all around 1.3m - 1.5m tall.

It is scandalously unprotected from the cattle in the field - I wish people would just take the time and effort to protect these place a little better sometimes.

The views are totally obscured by a loomg pine wood to one side and hedgerows to the others, but it is still worth a visit.
