Visit Notes

Sunday, 23rd June 2002

When viewed from the road this stone does not look too impressive, but this is a deception caused by it being set back over a ridge. When I got level with it I was actually taken aback by its 2m height.

It is 1.2m or so broad and 40cm deep with a nicely shaped, evenly rounded top. Its location offers fine views, but I was unable to get right up close as the field is planted with crops.
