Visit Notes

Sunday, 16th June 2002

Finding this was fun - but with an anti-climax. The coordinates that I had for it were some 50m out and it appeared that we needed to penetrate a dense thorn hedge to reach it. As I got to the top corner of the field I peered into the hedgerow and there it was!

It is actually in the hedge where the four fields meet and almost invisible. This is a real shame as it looks like a very nice stone. It is very slender, about 2m tall and rises nicely to a point. Shame you can't see it.
