Above the church on the hill overlooking the valley is the Anchorite's Cell which is said to be where St. Feichin lived.
I assume from this that the building has been altered many times since because it certainly does not look old enough for this to be the case.
Above the door (at the west end) is a very odd inscription and carved beastie.
