As you approach the church up the path you will see two slabs fastened to the wall facing you.
The rightmost, smaller one was found in the churchyard here and bears some resemblence to the Rathdown/Rathmichael slabs with traces of a herring-bone pattern.
The other, larger one came from somewhere in Kilmashogue, perhaps from the site of the missing church there. It has a very nice greek style cross on it in relief.
