I drive right past this church ruin every time I venture to Kiltiernan portal tomb and have so far ignored it. There is not a lot to see to be honest.
The one thing of visible interest is the stone font that is cemented onto the ledge of the east window.
Just over the road are the ruins of the abbey, but BIG private keep out signs put me off going to take a look. Perhaps I will trace the landowner and do it properly.
From the N11 take the R116 through Kiltiernan. There is a sharp left hand bend with a cul-de-sac continuing straight ahead. Take this road. After just 100m you will come to a left hand turn and the church is situated on theis junction.
