This is another one I'd tried to find before and I feel a bit of a fool for not having found it. It's massive!! My only excuse is that it stands in a field with a zillion other lumps of rock.

This amazing slab is 2m long, 1m wide and stands just 20cm tall. There are 5 very large (20 - 25cm) bullauns and one slightly smaller that has breached the side.

It was very hot today and there was no water in the cups but there were water marks indicating that it does hold water.

Directions

From Blessington cross the Pollaphuca Reservoir on Blessington Bridge. Turn right and follow the road around the lake until you pass through Lackan. Once through Lackan take the third road on the left. 250m up this road there is a house. The bullaun stones are in the field opposite.
