Visit Notes

Sunday, 5th May 2002

A quick stop off on the way home to see this relocated cross. Apparently it was rebuilt incorrectly when erected in The Diamond square in the town centre, but my untrained eye could not spot how.

Somehow its current location in a car park does not do this fine cross justice.

The carving is good with many of the panels still quite clear.
