As you approach this slab from the gate you see a rough hewn megalithic slab with a standard cross in relief carved on its face. The slab is 1.5m tall and 90cm wide.
What is of more interest to me is the obverse face. This has ten large cupmarks on it up to 10cm in diameter and 5cm deep. I am sure that this probably formed the roof to an earlier kist burial. A beautiful re-used stone.
