This odd structure has been classified as a possible megalithic tomb although it is very hard to tell what it may have been.

The structure, on the opposite side of the road from Grange Lios stone circle, consists of two rows of stone of unequal length and a stone standing in between. The longer row is some 12m long. None of the stones protrude by more than 70cm.

My thoughts when I saw it were of an avenue type structure, but it would seem too short. I do not know if any excavations have been done to this oddity.

Directions

From Bruff take the R512 north. 1km past the first crossroads you go through you will see a little car park on the right and a sign pointing to the circle. Park here. A little further along on the opposite side of the road is a gateway. Go through here and look right. You will see these stones.
