After being told that the cross I thought was Kiltuck cross is actually Rathmichael Cross I then set about finding this one. I had some leads (a nice email and a reference in a book) and so it was fairly easy to locate.
Like the nearby crosses at Rathmichael and Fassaroe this is a solid wheel cross while a crude crucifixion on one face. The rear has a very well preserved face in relief.
The cross and small base now stand, raised up, on a nasty modern plinth some 1.2m high. This does really detract from a wonderful cross. I am getting to quite like these primitive early crosses.

Whatever you do don't head for Kiltuck! Take N11 south from Dublin and turn off at the Shankhill junction just before the M11 starts. Follow the road around until you reach an island. On you left is St. Anne's Church. Turn left and park in the church car park. You can see the cross from there.
