Beautifully sited at the north end of Garfinny Lough this half height round tower stands beside the picturesque ruins of the old abbey.
The tower has a fine doorway at a height of 4m, but as it only reaches a little over 10m there are only one floor of windows remaining.
The abbey has many pieces of fine stone work cemented around the inside on display. The graveyard has several nice wheel cross style grave markers scattered around. These has a circled cross carved on one face and some feature writting over the whole obverse side.
A very nice, quiet location for a stop over to enjoy the views of the lough and perhaps have a picnic.
