In the fields between the track and the stone circle nothing is marked on the OS map, but walking across you can't help but notice scores of low (60cm) round mounds all about 2.5m in diameter.
They can not be field clearance because they litter the floor with just 4 or 5 m between each one. I can only imagine that they are burials.
One is topped with a standing stone. This whole area is amazingly packed with stuff.

Without the fog the standing stone on the one mini-cairn really does stand out across the field. It is about 1m tall (from the top of the cairn.)
I will not include directions for these sites. If you wish to find them then I recommend a good compass and an OS map. Even better a GPS.
