This is an odd stone, apparently of a slate like substance. It is about 1.8m tall, 30cm wide and just 10cm thick.

Thankfully, it is protected from the cattle that share the field with it.

Directions

From Kilmacthomas take the N25 east for around 3km and turn left. Turn right at the next crossroads and continue until you reach the next left turn. The stone can be seen in the field after this junction.
