I had a strange conversation with the farmer here and I'm still not realy sure what was said. I truly thought that I'd got used to the Irish accent, but this old boy really threw me.
The stone is located about 60m from the road and for some reason, despite talking to the farmer I did not actually go up to it. Perhaps, I just wanted to escape or something.
It appears to be 1.5m or so tall. The pictures I took are very hazy due to the sunshine but the stone appears to have a large deep groove down on side.
From Boris take the R729 and then the R702 south east. Turn right two junctions after the R703 turn off and continue for 1.5km and turn left at the fork. Carry on for another 1.3km and the stone is on you right.
