I was not able to get too close to these two beautiful looking stones due to big ditches, high hedge rows and sheep.
They stand proudly upon a ridge aligned east-west and are probably 2m tall. The eastmost stone is starting to lean. These are a definite must for getting closer to - maybe next time when I'm not in such a rush.

I have admired these stones from afar many times and today asked at the farmhouse (next gate on the right to the south) and was allowed to cross the fields and get close up. After braving electric fences (which in the words of the farmer 'are viscious') and being followed and harrassed by sheep while approaching the stones I was very pleasantly surprised.
These two 1.6m high stones, aligned east-west are beautifully matched. Both have a triangular profile, but one is more pointed than the other, which might imply a male/female paring similar to Boherboy (County Dublin). The eastern-most stone has some ogham on its two west facing edges which is very faint. I had read of this script, so this wasn't the surprise. What did surprise me was that the west stone has two fine cupmarks near its base.

If entering Tullow heading south on the N81 turn left opposite the turn off for the R418/R725. After about 2.3km keep looking to your right and you should see these stone about 300m inside the fields. I am not sure of the best way to reach them.
