I was very surprised by this mound beacuse it isn't actually a mound as such. It is more of a bank that forms a hollow depression using the slope of the hill, although it definitely is not a defensive earthwork. It may even be a bowl barrow.

This is so hard to distinguish that I will not give directions. Real die-hards should use the OS. I approached it from the cairn at Knockannavea.
