Visit Notes

Thursday, 21st March 2002

A lovely spring morning, a great day to visit some sites. I didn't actually visit Dalkey Island but it is eay to see because it is just 150m from the coast at Dalkey.

The promontory fort was built on a rocky outcrop at the north end of the island. There appear to be no earthworks remaining.
