Atmosphere. Atmosphere. Atmosphere! And then some.
What a lovely setting for these two stones. Nestled in the corner of a private graveyard under a canopy of hardwood trees these stones are quite beautiful.
As you approach the graveyard along a path through the thicket you are teased with anticipation which is realised the moment you set eyes on these two gorgeous stones in this fantastic setting.
The taller, more easterly stone, is around 1.7m tall and the shorter one is perhaps 1.5m tall. Both are square in plan and of about the same dimensions along a side.
I love graveyard stones anyway, but these have to be the best I've seen to date. Go there now!

From Newry take the A25 north east. After the B8 island take the second right. On the left just 200m on the right ae some gates. Park up and walk through the grove to the graveyard.
