This hillfort occupies the top of a large round hill just south of Kilcullen. The line of the banks are clearly defined by a ring of bushes and shrubs that sit around the hill like a mantle.
The weather really was too bad to attempt a climb up into the fort and so I had to settle for gazing at it across the valley.

From Kilcullen head south along the N78. Looking southwest you will see a large hill. This is Dun Ailine.
