This 60m diameter henge is quite something even if the trees that line its mound hide a lot of the details.
The outer bank rises to at least 5m and dips just 1.5m inside producing a raised platform 3-4m above the ground outside.
There were reports of a tomb inside here but there has been no trace found for many years. The standing stone remains though.

From Borris in Ossory take the R435 south. Take the first right (3km) and take the right fork at the next junction. Continue until you reach an odd fourway junction. The Henge is behind the hedge directly in front of you.
