Visit Notes

Sunday, 21st September 2008

I was really looking forward to getting to getting up close to this great looking wedge tomb. From the track to the south you can see it crowning a low knoll and it looks in great condition.

It appears to have its roof still and much of the rest of its structure. The route to it is via a farm to the south, which has a lot of dogs in it and there was noone around to give me (safe) access.

I must return to this site, perhaps arriving later in the day so that there's someone around.
