This is why there is a cairn marked on the OS map. When I visited the wedge tomb on the top of this hill I thought that was it, but now I realise that there are two monuments here: the wedge tomb and this cairn just a few metres away.
The remains consist of a 6m diameter circle of tall slabs that denote the kerb. The centre is empty.
