Although this mound is quite large it took some time to spot from the road due to the slope down to it and the hedgerow that runs alongside it.

The mound is over 3m tall and 15m in diameter and is located on a west-facing slope overlooking what used to be a river. The river is now a stream that runs in a concrete-lined channel, because it has been dammed at the head of the valley.
