Visit Notes

This is one of two bullaun stones that stand outside the new Roman Catholic church at the south end of the village.

The stone is about 90cm across and stands 50cm high. The single bullaun/basin is not circular, is but more trough-like. It is about 30cm x 50cm and centrally placed. I'm not sure if these two stones came from the priory next to the church or from the old church at the other end of the village or from somewhere else completely.
