Now this was a surprise and an added bonus for my trip. I had come back to Kildreenagh to seek out the second bullaun stone, and it was walking back from this that I saw this stone.
It is a low, earthfast boulder with a single, well-defined cupmark placed almost centrally. At first I thought it was a drill hole, but after clearing it out I could see that it was definitely a good rock art cupmark.
Another new piece of rock art within site of Mount Leinster!
