Visit Notes

Sunday, 30th December 2007

I am not 100% sure of the townland name, nor of the monument type here. The remains are very odd, but very large.

The site stands inside a protective fence in open pasture. It was getting rather dark when I arrived, so I can't comment too much on views etc. From the road the site appears to be a mound with a few stones poking out, but the far side is very different. Massive stones line the south and western flanks of the mound, which could be part of a gallery and court.
