Visit Notes

This large stone is shaped like a huge cheese wedge that has been stood up on its blunt end. It has been standing up for a considerable amount of time, because the top is eroded and grooved like many other Carlow standing stones - see Williamstown (County Carlow), Aghade (County Carlow) and Molly's Cross Roads (County Carlow) for other examples.

As far as I know this stone is unrecorded and is a new addition to the group of Carlow Grooved Stones.
