This is a very plain standing stone located in the lowest field in the townland. The field slopes very gently southwards down to the lough below. 10m northwest there is a much-worn rock art panel against the field boundary. The land on the opposite side of the fence rises more steeply.
The stone is about 1.8m tall and square in section.
