A standing stone with a knob on top! No, really. This stone has a little stone cemented on to its apex. Apparently, this has been there for a long time and kept getting knocked off or removed, so it was cemented in place. If the bottom stone was a bit slimmer it would look quite rude. It is slightly under 2m tall if you include the little stone as well.
On the north face there is a carved cross. I visited late in the afternoon, so this was in shadow. COnsequently, it doesn't show up on any of the wide images taken from this side. Next to the stone there is a recumbent stone, which may or may not have once stood next to the one with the knob on top.
