This beautiful quartz upright measures about 1.5m high and is square in section. Glistening white it now sits close to a tee on a small par 3 golf course. It can clearly be seen from the road. Even over the wall this stone gives out tremendous energy.

_I revisited this stone with a German friend and took some better photographs. To access this site simply go through the gate nearest to it. The golf course owner prefers that to you walking across his course.

A quick stop by at the Glencullen stone while passing to take photographs from all sides. Just as I was leaving here it started raining. Looks like I timed it just right.

_I stopped off to take a photo featuring myself for scale. I realised that I had said that the stone was 1.4m tall and I know it's taller in the back of my mind.

After sitting in the car for 5 minutes near Ballyedmonduff (County Dublin) I decided that my friend, Scott, and I would be much better off sitting in Johny Fox's Pub instead. This decision was met with approval and so off we went. When the rain stopped I decided, because we were so close to here, that it would be a more sensible starting point. Scott was very impressed with this solid quartz beauty, just as I always am.
Once again another person does not fail to be impressed by this wonderous piece of quartz! Anthony has wanted to see this since I first made him aware of it. Like everyone else - he loved it.

When I take people here it always gets their heart racing. The sun came out and shone forth like a mother, making this stone glow. I like getting strange looks from folks that are playing golf on the course here. I always think that they are on a circular trip with a known destination while I'm just cruising along, being taken on a ride by the stones to destinations unknown.

This was just a quick stop to get a GPS reading really, but I am still amazed everytime I see this stone, especially when it's in shadow for a while and then the sun breaks through. I find myself reaching for sunglasses: it's so bright!

From the N11 take the R116 through Kiltiernan and on to Glencullen. At Johnny Fox's Pub turn left. This stone is situated just over a low wall on the left about 150 yards after the junction.
As is to be expected with stones of this nature there are many attachments of magical powers. It was once known by the name of Queen Mab.
This stone is rumoured to penetrate the earth by over 20 feet. A landowner in the 1700's decided to try and move the stone to his house. The labourers gave up digging at 20 ft down, so the story goes.
