Well, what is this place? It's so odd. Anthony Weir lists it as a Megalithic Tomb? (with a question mark) and after seeing it I can see why. What stands here is a row of stones with a couple of smaller stones standing in front of them.
The main stones are quite massive. The largest is about 2m tall and 1.5m wide. the next largest is slightly shorter and slimmer. The main stones are arranged in a north-south alignment and are situated next to a low rise that blocks the views to the north.
I'm not sure what these were once part of. I suppose it could be that they were part of a tomb. Equally, it could be that the main stones were simply a stone row and the smaller stones were added at a later date.
