Visit Notes

Sunday, 1st April 2007

This is one of the smallest stones we saw today (stone k being possibly smaller). It was also one of the most difficult to spot, as it is tucked away into the side of the river bank. We first saw it from the opposite (north) side of the river.

The boulder that the sible bullaun is cut into rests on the river bed and stands about 1m high, but is only 50cm or so in plan. The single bullaun is centrally placed and is around 25cm in diameter.
