This townland has a lot of monuments: several portal tombs, standing stones and a wedge tomb. It is also very, very boggy and all of them are tricky to get to. To make it worse the State Monuments Register has the wrong grid reference for this one - they're out by about 300m. I only came across it whilst walking to the next site.

At first sight it doesn't look like a portal tomb, but closer inspection reveals the tips of the orthostats below the thick, slightly displaced capstone. It is positioned next to a fast flowing stream on a west facing slope. It was so foggy when I arrived here I can't really say much more about it at the moment.
