This is a massive ringfort. The banks are at least 4m high and the ditch on the south side is 4m wide and 3m deep. As I was unable to enter the field - a rickety gate and a (probably bogus) beware of the bull' sign put me off - I can't say what the measurements are exactly, but it's at least 70m in diamater.

There's a bit of recent history to this site, too. In October 1843 Daniel O'Connell held a repeal meeting here.
